The aim of the degree programme is to enable graduates both to enhance the efficiency and innovativeness of companies at the interface between technical and business tasks and to improve collaboration within the company. Career opportunities include the areas of production preparation and management, logistics, marketing and sales as well as quality, environmental and occupational safety management.
The Business Administration and Engineering degree programme is based on technical, business and overlapping subjects (Computer Science, Languages), which are interconnected.
In addition to the required professional competence which is taught in the first four semesters, in particular, the study programme offers students many opportunities to develop a personal profile in the remaining three semesters by participating in team projects as well as selecting technical and business specialisations and compulsory elective courses. In the International Business Administration and Engineering field of study, students can develop their profile by spending a compulsory semester abroad at a partner university.
The final semester is designed to enable students to apply the knowledge acquired within the company and to write and present their Bachelor thesis.
