Business activities largely consist of psychological challenges. The Business Psychology degree programme systematically imparts in-depth business knowledge and psychological content, methods and skills. In order to meet business requirements, the Business Psychology degree programme at Hochschule Harz combines basic psychological and economic knowledge with practical implementation of this knowledge. Consequently, graduates are ideally prepared for the interface between people and company and the market.
During the study programme, students learn how to transfer academic knowledge of psychology to everyday corporate life and tackle in-house problems using well-founded methods while, at the same time, taking account of company organisation and the benefits accruing to the company. With its combination of academic background and practical application, the Business Psychology degree programme is the ideal preparation for everyday professional life in companies' human resources and organisational sector (recruitment and human resources development, training and further education, organisational development) as well as market sector (marketing, market research, sales, advertising). As professional experience is gained, new areas of activity open up in corporate consulting and self-employment.
