Welcome to Hochschule Harz, University of Applied Sciences!
Exchange students from our partner universities are important members of the university. Therefore everyone- students, lecturers as well as the International Office- each semester wait curiously how they will contribute towards the university's international flair.
An exchange semester is an exceptional experience for each student. You learn what it means to live and study in a foreign country, to meet new people with different cultural backgrounds, to learn a foreign language and to master these exceptional circumstances independently. Important prerequisites for successful study abroad are interest, openness and curiosity for the country, the culture and the University itself, adaptability and a certain amount of planning and preparation. Furthermore, exchange students need to be ready to dare to jump in at the deep end and to believe that the exchange semester can be the experience of a lifetime.
