Research and Technology Transfer Hochschule Harz

Besides teaching and study, research is one of the principal duties of a university. We see ourselves as a scientific institution, attaching central importance to applied research and development. Hochschule Harz (FH) strives to use its research activities to make a significant contribution to social, economic and technical development while infusing the curriculum with up-to-date content.

A "Centre of Competence for Information and Communication Technologies, Tourism and Services" has been established at Hochschule Harz (FH). The centre of competence is part of the "Competence Network for Applied and Transfer-Oriented Research" at state universities and therefore part of Saxony Anhalt's Excellence Initiative. Furthermore, the university's Associated Institutes will be glad to assist with research inquiries or cooperation projects.

All laboratories at Hochschule Harz are available for research, teaching and technology transfer. The laboratories feature state-of-the-art equipment and are not only available to researchers and students, but can – by arrangement – also be used by industry as innovation laboratories for external research and development work up to prototype production.
