University sport

Hochschule Harz offers you a wide range of sports activities which include 40 different sport courses, from aerobics to volleyball. We offer excellent training courses on campus in our modern sports hall in Wernigerode.

During the summer months, students like to play beach volleyball directly on campus. "Fit for Study" is the motto of the fitness room, which is equipped with up-to-date fitness equipment. This is open to students around the clock during the term and examination periods. University sports also organises special events. These include the annual St. Nicholas indoor football tournament, the Christmas volleyball tournament and the beach volleyball tournament.

There are several other opportunities to admire the sports skills of students at performances and demonstrations, for example at the summer festival, the university dance or the international evening.
